Bebe Barry in 'Deep Cuts'


2014 leaver Bebe Barry has been cast in the new 6 part TV drama series Deep Cuts. The series, produced by Frontline Picture House, is due to air later in 2015. Bebe, who is studying drama at LAMDA, is very well known to Walthamstow Hall students, families and friends for her electric performances in the Ship, notably as Smike in Nicholas Nickleby, Mrs Hardcastle in She Stoops in Conquer and Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls

Deep Cuts is a mystery drama which starts in 1993 when the isolated woodland community of Freston is shocked to the core when nine year old Liam McFadden and his six year old brother George witness their father’s violent suicide. Almost twenty-one years later, Liam becomes the most feared and violent man in the district. When local police fail to take action, three young men take the law into their own hands, with disastrous consequences that send new shock waves through the community... and soon everybody will be asking: ‘Where is Liam?’
