A Musical Week at the Junior School

It has been a busy week for music at the Junior School.

On May 19th parents enjoyed a wide variety of piano and vocal solos from Terry Gilkyson’s Bare Necessities to the Toreador Song by Bizet at the Musical Tea.

On Saturday 21st May Cantores, and 4 soloists from the Senior School choir, took part in the Westerham Festival Day of Music. They sang 3 songs to a very appreciative audience.

Finally, on Tuesday 24th May members of Cantores enjoyed a visit to Rochester Cathedral. The Cathedral Director of Music made the girls very welcome, talking to them and taking questions both during the choristers’ rehearsal and after the Evensong service.
