Professor Pearce joined the Governing Body in January 2016 as a parent-nominated governor, with a daughter attending the Junior School.  He studied at the Royal Academy of Music and King’s College London where he completed his Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees in music. He worked at Oxford University and Univ Central England before, becoming Principal of Rose Bruford College and then President and CEO of Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore, a leading international institution of Higher Education and research for creative arts.  Prof Pearce has worked on several arts-related governmental advisory bodies, advised on funding universities and assisted several universities in developing their ability to attract enhanced funding. He has recently authored a book entitled Managing Creative People.
