Mr Ian Philip FCA

Ian Philip became Chairman of Governors in November 2003, having joined the Governing Body in 1992. He was educated at Haileybury and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse, London. After 12 years with Price Waterhouse, Ian worked in the insurance and outdoor advertising sectors before setting up his own accountancy practice in 1997. His two daughters both attended Walthamstow Hall Junior and Senior schools and he was Chairman of the Finance Committee for 10 years. Ian is also Chairman of the League of Friends of Sevenoaks Hospital and is a Community Governor at Southborough Primary School.
