Extra Curricular Activities

Sixth Formers at Walthamstow Hall are encouraged to make the most of their time, enjoy the facilities and enrichment opportunities on offer and gain additional life skills.

As well as maintaining involvement in Music, Sport and Dram and the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Sixth Formers participate in schemes such as the Target 2.0 Bank of England challenge and the student investor competition, Voluntary service in the community and a range of clubs and societies.

Staff are always pleased to support students in their own initiatives and recognise that Sixth Formers have an important part to play as school leaders. As well as being Prefects, House and Sports Captains, Sixth Form students run School Council meetings and other clubs, activities and charity and community projects.

Every year girls organise social events and a Leavers' Ball and take part in joint activities with local boys' schools.

Supervised late study from 4:15 pm until 6:00 pm is a popular option and tea is also available for Sixth Form girls staying after 4:15 pm for matches and other activities.

An extensive round up of all extra-curricular activities is compiled and published each year in the school's CODA magazine, a copy of which is distributed to every Walthamstow Hall family.
