Over 95% of Sixth Form girls participate in Voluntary Service both at home and abroad. On a local level girls give their free time to help at local primary schools, most notably at nearby St Johns or as part of our Pop Lacrosse outreach programme. Sixth Formers also help at old people's homes and in running clubs for disadvantaged children. Further afield Sixth Formers have recently travelled to South Africa to teach at the school at Magadu.
Once Year 11 students have completed their GCSE studies one of the first projects that they undertake on their way to becoming Sixth Formers is hosting a party for residents of the Peckham Settlement in London.
Sixth Formers lead the charity work of their Houses, helping to nominate House charities and then organise fund raising projects.
Many Sixth Form students also continue the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme involvement started earlier in the Senior School, completing their silver and even sometimes Gold Awards during their Sixth Form years.
